University of Occupational Safety Management is located in the very centre of Katowice, the city which is the capital of the  Silesian metropolis and the centre of the biggest industrial agglomeration in Poland numbering four million inhabitants.
University of Occupational Safety Management in Katowice (WSZOP) is a modern university educating in two faculties, in the humanistic, social and technical fields. It acts in compliance with the Bologna system respected within all the European Union member states. The University authorities attach significant importance to the internationalisation of studies – WSZOP cooperates with a lot of universities and research centres in Poland and abroad, it implements international educational programmes, it enables internship and studies at the European Union universities and it carries out student and staff member exchange.
